Flir T200 Infrared Camera. The FLIR T200 is a professional level infrared camera with a spectral range of 7.5 - 13 microns (-20 to 350 deg C) and a 200 x 150 resolution. Please arrive early to familiarize yourself with operation of this camera. Ideas for Demonstrations: Thermal Transmissivity: Black plastic bag is translucent to IR, lucite is opaque. Thermal transfer: Traces from hand / foot prints or drawing with ice is visible in IR. Hot/cold water heats or cools a container. Convection Currents: Visible convection currents in hot water, air (bunsen burner, match, hair dryer). And so much more! Please share ideas with demo staff.
