Fire syringe: Paper or Cotton is ignited in a cylinder with a piston. The piston is driven down with a forceful push. High temperature is generated by compressing the air in the cylinder. Soaking the paper/cotton in ether results in a brighter and faster flame (but is optional) NOTE: Purge cylinder with compressed air between tries. TEMPERATURE AND EXPANSION.
