Elastic band acts as slingshot
• A+50+6

A long elastic band is secured to two metal poles. An object can be gripped through the elastic band and released at a variety of angles to act as a slingshot. Note: This demo works very well for launching objects gripped through the elastic however they can fly a considerable distance. A soft ball should be used in case it goes astray. A protractor can be mounted behind the bands to show angle of release.
