Rope and strobe: Transverse standing waves, motor driven.
3B22.10 • B+50+10

Standing Waves on a Driven Rope: The rope tension is adjusted by hand, using the windlass crank. Motor speed and strobe rate are adjusted to freeze the rope in the first mode, second mode, third mode, etc. Set up Note: Left strobe illuminates left part of rope; right strobe illuminates right part of rope.
