Flir T200 Infrared camera. The FLIR T200 is a professional level infrared camera with a spectral range of 7.5-13 microns (-20 to 350 deg C) and a 200 x 150 resolution. Please arrive early to familiarize yourself with operation of this camera. Ideas for demonstrations: Thermal Transmissivity: Black plastic bag is translucent to IR, lucite is opaque. Thermal Transfer: Traces from hand/foot prints or drawing with ice visible in IR. How/cold water heats or cools a container. Convection Currents: Visible convection currents in hot water, air (bunsen burner, match, hair dryer)... And so much more!
