Movable masses attached to rigid rod and force sensors
• A+14+21
A rigid rod is suspended in between two force sensors with a single mass in the middle of the rod (or other configurations on request). Both sensors initially have the same reading. A clicker question can be used to elicit student feedback before the demo is used setting it up. “If the mass is slid to the right from your point of view will: A) F_right same, F_total same B) F_right increases, F_total increases C) F_Left same, F_total increase D) F_left decreases, F_total same E) All forces the same"
