Potential energy of spring imparted to ball on ramp

Here a spring is mounted at the beginning of a track and can be compressed various amounts to cause the ball to rise higher or lower on the ramp. This demonstration can be used to show equivalence of the potential energy of a spring, kinetic energy, and the potential energy due to gravity.
